ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to make necessary modification in the Patta Pass Book in respect of Survey No.701/3 at Paramankurichi Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District and pass appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2019 within the time limit stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.M.Jegadeesh Pandian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.With regard to the correction to be made in the patta already been issued by the Tahsildar under UDR survey in respect of the petitioner's property in Survey No.701/3 at Paramankurichi Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District, the petitioner made an appeal/representation to the 1st respondent Revenue Divisional Officer on 01.03.2019. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner wants the said appeal/representation of the petitioner filed before the 1st respondent to be considered on merits, within a time frame.
4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate, who would submit that the said request/representation appeal filed by the petitioner dated 01.03.2019 would be considered by the 1st respondent and order to that effect would be passed on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, at the admission itself, with the following direction:
"The 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the appeal/representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law and if need be, by giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and the final order shall be passed, at any rate, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
