Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus direct the respondents to disburse the entire retirement benefits due to the petitioner with 18% interest p.a at once.

JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by The Hon'ble Chief Justice] By consent of the parties, the Writ Appeal is disposed of, by directing the appellant to pay the balance amount of Rs.4,00,000/- [Rupees Four Lakhs only] to the Writ Petitioner in monthly instalments of Rs.1,00,000/-. The first instalment shall be paid within 7th July 2018 and the subsequent instalments shall be paid within 7th day of each succeeding month. This Court, however, directs that in the fifth month, a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees Ten Thousand only] shall be paid towards lumpsum interest/compensation for belated payment. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
