To extend the time granted in Crl.OP(MD) No.13242/2019 dt.23/12/2021 for directing me to deposit a sum of Rs.6,70,375/-(Rupees six lakhs seventy thousand and three hundred and seventy five only) and pass such further or other orders. Prayer in CRL.OP.NO.13242 of 2019 :- The Criminal Original petition filed Under Section 482 of Cr.p.c. To set aside the impugned order dated 16-08-2019 in Cr.M.P. No 2714 of 2019 in C.A. No 76 of 2019 on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar against C.C.No 102 of 2014 on the file of the Judincial Magistrate, Aruppukottai direction the petitioner to deposit of sum of Rs.

16,75,938/-(50% of the compensation amount) before the Judicial Magistrate Aruppukottai and pass any other appropriate orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case thus render justice. This petition is filed seeking extension of time for making payment of Rs.6,70,375/- before the Trial Court as per the order of this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.13242 of 2019, dated 23.12.2021. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was directed to deposit 20% of the compensation amount i.e., Rs.6,70,375/- within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and the time for making payment was expired on 16.02.2022. But, he has wrongly calculated the time for making payment only expired on 18.02.2022. Because of the wrong calculation, he is not in a position to comply the condition passed by this Court. Hence, he seeks extension of time for making payment before the Trial Court.

3.The learned counsel for the respondent is present and he has no objection to extend the time for making payment before the Trial Court.

4.In view of the above, time is extended for a period of 15 days from today.
