This Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents to give proper police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, his family members in the residence, Petrol bunk at Bharat Petroleum, NH-49, By-pass Road, Parthibanoor, Ramanathapuram District, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.04.2015.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no instruction that the matter has been posted 'for dismissal' on today.

3. There was no representation for the petitioner on two occasions. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the matter was served through post to the petitioner counsel. Since there is no reply from the petitioner to the respondent counsel, prima facie shows that the petitioner is aware of the ongoing proceedings.

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed 'for non-prosecution'. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
