ORDER

By consent of both counsels, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The limited prayer sought for is for a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 20.06.2016, pending on the file of the second respondent in Omu.Aa 4/2680/2016.

3. The learned Counsel for the respondents submitted that in view of the pendency of appeals, considerable time could be taken to dispose of the same and that the appeals are being taken up for consideration as per seniority. As such, in my view, the time limit of eight weeks could be reasonable for the second respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal.

4. In the result, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 20.06.2016, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
