ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2019, relating to the demarcation of

land and consequently issue separate patta in his name measuring 6 and 1⁄2 cents out of 0.24.0 Ares in S.No.39/11A/2A in Merpanaikkadu village in Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, according to his sale deed dated 21.07.2011.

2.Heard Mr.R.Suriya Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to demarcate his land which was purchased from the respondents 4 and 5 by a valid sale deed to the extent of 2-1/2 cents out of 0.24.0 Ares in S.No.39/11A/2A in Merpanaikadu village, in Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District, made a request to the respondent on 17.06.2019. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants the said representation to be considered at an early date and an order to that effect shall be passed.

4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader, who would submit that the said representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2019 would be decided on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, by the 3rd respondent.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, at the admission itself, with the following direction:

"The 3rd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, of course, after giving an opportunity of being heard to both the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 and the final order shall be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
