ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court had already granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD).No.22251 of 2018 dated 08.02.2019 with a condition that the petitioner should deposit Rs.1,54,000/-/. The petitioner was unable to deposit the amount, which was ordered by this Court. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed a petition for extension of time to produce the surety and deposit the money. Though, extension of the time was granted, the petitioner was unable to produce the surety, due to his poverty. Again, the petitioner filed a modification and extension of time petition before this Court, on the date of hearing, this Court allowed the petitioner to withdraw https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
the said petitions by giving liberty to file a fresh petition. Hence, this present petition has been filed.
2. Since the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail earlier, the second anticipatory bail may not lie. If the time is lapsed, the petitioner has to file a petition for extension of time or for modification. The petitioner is at liberty to file a proper petition.
With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
