ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 to 5 to survey the petitioner's
land subsequently sub divided in S.No.294/1 to an extent of 6 acres 87-1/2 cents situated at Kanakkapillaiyur, Vellapatty Village, Keeranur Post, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District and issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2019 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.K.Asok Kumar Ram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the 6th respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.
3.The petitioner, in order to survey/measure the land and identify the boundaries at S.No.294/1 to an extent of 6 acres 871/2 cents situated at Kanakkapillaiyur, Vellapatty Village, Keeranur Post, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District, has made a request on 16.04.2019 to the respondents, especially, the 4th respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is directed to be considered and needful is done within a time frame by the 4th respondent, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, who would submit that, the request of the petitioner would be considered by the 4th respondent and it would be decided within a time frame.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:
"The 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2019 and do the needful, of course, after hearing the petitioner as well as the 6th respondent, by giving notice and pass final orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
