O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event viz., Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 07.07.2019 at night 07.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. in connection with "Mandala Pooja Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Soolai Karuppar Temple at N.Keelaiyur Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2019. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that already there are two rival groups fighting with each other. Hence, the petitioner's application has been considered and rejected by the second respondent Police.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner's application has been considered and rejected by the second respondent Police, at this stage, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
