ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 28.01.2019, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.Mohammed Athiff, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. According to the petitioner, he has made a representation, dated 28.01.2019 to the respondent along with detailed calculation sheet requesting to refix his pay as per the revised 7th pay commission scale of pay and allowances and to sanction and disburse his retirement benefits in tune with the revised 7th pay commission retirement benefits. not been considered so far. He would further submit that the respondent has not handed over the pension sanction order, pension book, gratuity sanction order till date. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

5. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the respondent on merits and in accordance with law.

6. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer made by the petitioner and considering the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.01.2019, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, if necessary.

8. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
