ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to cancel the illegally name transferred pattas Nos.3117, 3390, 3540 consequently take action against the concerned authorities for causes illegally name transferred in the said pattas and consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2019.

2.Heard Mr.A.Mu.Sharavanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.As against the wrong issuance of the patta, the petitioner filed an appeal to the 2nd respondent on 07.05.2019 and all that, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants that, the said appeal by way of a representation submitted to the 2nd respondent to be directed to be decided at an early date on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that the said appeal/representation dated 07.05.2019 of the petitioner would be decided by the 2nd respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:

"The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation/appeal filed by the petitioner dated 07.05.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, of course, after hearing third parties, of any, who makes claim on the subject land covering under the patta, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
