This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e.) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Muthumariyamman Kovil Aani Pongal Festival situated at V.Utchapatti, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, which is to be held on 04.07.2019 from 07.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2019. 2.Heard both sides.

respondents, on instructions, submitted that the application has been considered and rejected by the second respondent Police. 4.In the above circumstances, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
