ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus,directing the respondent to transfer the patta in the petitioner's name vide Application Reference in Can No.0331332118290, Application No.2019/0103/13/083116 dated 13.06.2019 and Can No.0331332118290, Application No.2019/0103/13/075668, dated 27.02.2019.

2.Heard Mr.M.Malaiyendran,, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.The petitioner, in order to change the patta in respect of the land in S.No.332/21 and 332/1A1A at Seelapadi village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District, has given an application on 27.02.2019 and again on 13.06.2019. All that the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants that the said applications submitted by the petitioner can be decided by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent, within a time frame, on merits.

4.I have heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said applications submitted by the petitioner dated 27.02.2019 and 13.06.2019 would be decided on merits by the respondent, within a time frame.

5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction: "The respondent is directed to consider the applications dated 27.02.2019 and 13.06.2019 submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders thereon, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
