ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 1/4

482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in respect of Crime No.203 of 2022 and to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that they have expressed their suspicion over two persons, namely, Karuppasamy and Marimuthu.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has not furnished any other particulars about these persons.

5. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the said Karuppasamy and Marimuthu have already 2/4

filed a complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act against the petitioner and the same is pending.

6. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the petitioner is directed to furnish the particulars about the above said two persons and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.203 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
