Respondent/Complainant Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.3 of 2014 within time frame as may be fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Deenadhayalan For Respondent : Mr.K.S.Durai Pandiyan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.3 of 2014 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The petitioner who is the defacto complainant lodged a complaint against two individuals for offences under Sections 294 (B), 324 AND 506(ii) of I.P.C. It is stated that final report was also filed and it was taken on file in C.C.No.3 of 2014 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi. Though the trial has been commenced in the year 2014, learned counsel for the petitioner states that it is yet to be over and a direction for early disposal will be in the interest of justice.

4. Having regard to the nature of offences and the fact that the trial has been commenced even in the month of August 2014, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

" The learned Judicial Magistrate, Lalgudi, is directed to expedite the trial and to dispose the case in C.C.No.3 of 2014 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
