This petition is for issuing a direction to the third respondent to register the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 07.06.2017.
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is an office bearer of Hindu Nadars Uravinmurai Society and that there is a dispute between two factions with regard to the administration of the society. It is stated that this Court in a Writ Petition has passed an order directing the petitioner's faction to be in office till the newly elected office bearers assume charge. The complaint that was lodged by the petitioner refers to serious allegations and criminal charges against certain individuals who have made an attempt to interfere with the day-to-day affairs of the society apart from looting the account books and other properties of the society. Since the complaint makes out cognizable offence, the petitioner is entitled to approach this Court for appropriate direction. Hence, the above Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the third respondent is directed to register the complaint dated 07.06.2017 and file a final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
