JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) This Writ Appeal arises against the order passed in W.P.(MD). No.25420 of 2019, dated 02.09.2022.

2. The admitted case of the appellants is that the post of Graduate Teacher (Social Science) fell vacant due to the retirement of one S.Christober, who was erstwhile incumbent. It is a sanctioned post and the post fell vacant with effect from 31.05.2018. To the said post, one T.Vinod Kannan was appointed.

3. As the appointment has been made as against the sanctioned post and prior permission has already been granted to appoint a teacher by the competent educational authorities, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order of the learned Single Judge. Accordingly, this Writ Appeal stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
