ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to measure the lands comprised in S.No.321/1B3 vide patta No.1328 situated at Eral Taluk, Vellamadam Village, Mela Vallamadam, Veda Kovil Street, Thoothukudi District by considering the petitioner's application dated 06/06/2019.

2.Heard Mr.Mandhiralingeswaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to survey the land in S.No.321/1B3 situated at Eral Taluk, Vellamadam Village, Mela Vallamadam, Veda Kovil Street, Thoothukudi District, made a request to the 1st respondent on 06.06.2019 and hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said application dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

06.06.2019 is directed to be considered by the 1st respondent and an order to that effect is directed to be passed, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said application of the petitioner would be considered and decided by the 1st respondent on merits and orders would be passed thereon, within a time frame. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:

"The 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.06.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
