ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's construction work on the property situated at Trichy District, Srirangam Taluk, Pirattiyur West Village, S.F.No.12/3, measuring 1/3

18,560 square feet, in the light of his representation dated 17.02.2021, within the time frame.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is trying to construct a fence within his land. The fourth respondent is disturbing the petitioner and prayed for a direction to give police protection to the petitioner for putting up the construction.

3.On the side of the respondents 1 to 3, it is stated that a case in Crime No.45 of 2021 was registered. When the police went to the spot, the petitioner was not available. Again the petitioner was informed through phone and directed was to appear yesterday (18.03.2021). But the petitioner failed to appear. On appearance of the petitioner and after hearing the fourth respondent, the respondents 1 to 3 will do the needful.

4.It is seen that the petitioner is not cooperating the enquiry. Hence, the petitioner is hereby directed to cooperate for the enquiry and the police officials are directed to complete the petition enquiry in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
