Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the proceedings in A4/584/2015 dated 26.05.2016 on the file of the second respondent herein by transferring the lease from the name of Late. P.Subbiah Thevar to the name of the fourth respondent and to quash the same and forbear the respondents 2 to 4 from in any way interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the wet lands bearing Survey Nos.202 and 203 to an extent of 2 acres and 3 cents, situated in Manthirayar Sathiram in Kuttuvankulam village, Kovilammalpuram post, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 2.By order dated 14.02.2019, I had allowed W.P.(MD)No.14888 of 2016 filed by the petitioner herein. The matter was remitted back to the file of Block Development Officer, Kalakkadu Panchayat Union to pass orders afresh, in accordance with law. Since the earlier order was repeated, this contempt petition came to be filed. 3.Now, the stand of the Block Development Officer is that she will pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, entirely uninfluenced by the earlier development in this litigation. Hence, the Block Development Officer is directed to pass such order, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In view of the same, no further order is necessary in this contempt petition and the same stands closed.
