ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to permit the petitioner to provide cable connection at Tamil Nadu Urban Habitant Development Board, plan area 1 and 2 in Vaiyurpillai Vayal, Sivagangai District, based on the application of the petitioner dated 23.09.2021. 2.According to the petitioner, he has satisfied all the statutory requirements for being appointed as a Local Cable TV Operator. He has submitted an application on 23.09.2021 to the respondent, after complying with all the statutory requirements for being appointed as Local Cable TV Operator. Further, it is the contention of the petitioner that till date, his application dated 23.09.2021 has not been considered and no final orders have been passed. In such circumstances, he has filed this writ petition. 3.Heard Mr.B.

Prasanna Vinoth, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's application dated 23.09.2021 seeking to be appointed as Local Cable TV Operator at Tamil Nadu Urban Habitant Development Board, plan area 1 and 2 in Vaiyurpillai Vayal, Sivagangai District, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

W.P.[MD]No.4669 of 2022 is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.09.2021 seeking for his appointment as Local Cable TV Operator at Tamil Nadu Urban Habitant Development Board, plan area 1 and 2 in Vaiyurpillai Vayal, Sivagangai District, and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six [6] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
