ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.05.2019 and grant patta in the name of the petitioner for the property comprised in R.S.No.386/3 measuring an extent of 1750 sq. ft. identified as Plot No.8, situated at Avaniyapuram Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.Pala Ramasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, in order to get patta for the land claimed to have been belong to the petitioner in R.S.No.386/3 measuring an extent of 1750 sq. ft. identified as Plot No.8, situated at Avaniyapuram Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai, made an application/representation on 24.05.2019. All that, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner wants, if the said application/representation submitted to the 2nd and 3rd respondents is directed to be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 24.05.2019 would be decided by the 2nd and 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:

"The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.05.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
