This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 08.07.2019 in pursuant to the Maha Kumbabishegam of Arulmigu Sree Drowpathai Amman - Sree Varadharaja Vinayagar Temple, situated at Melattur Karambai Village, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 20.06.2019 and 01.07.2019.

2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 08.07.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made representations on 20.06.2019 and 01.07.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representations of the petitioner dated 20.06.2019 and 01.07.2019 has already been considered and permission has been rejected by the second respondent.
5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the prayer as such sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
