This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take action Upon the petitioner representation dated 31.12.2024.
2.According to the petitioner, he developed friendship with one Vanitha, who was a widow and having two children and they lived together. Thereafter, they separated. While so, the said Vanitha and her mother along with their relatives entered into the petitioner's house by breaking the lock and stolen his jewels and other things, thereby, the petitioner lodged the complaint on 20.11.2024 before the District Crime Branch, Thanjavur and again he lodged a complaint before the Inspector of Police, Boodalur, on 31.12.2024 but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that there is a dispute between the petitioner and one Vanitha, who lived with the petitioner for some time 2/5
and thereby, the petitioner lodged the complaint and sent the representation, dated 31.12.2024, but the petitioner has not appeared for enquiry. However, the enquiry will be concluded within a period of one week.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondents are directed to complete the enquiry within a period of one week in accordance with law. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 04.03.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
