Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondent in Refusal Check Slip in RFL/Manaparai/2/2025 dated 02.01.2025 and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and in consequence thereof direct the respondent to receive and register the settlement deed dated 02.01.2025 executed by the petitioner in favor of his son Vishnu without insisting to produce the original parental deed.

O R D E R

The issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the Judgment of this Court in Ibunu Mohaideen vs. The Sub Registrar, Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram District, W.P.(MD)No.3347 of 2025 dated 20.02.2025. Consequently, I am not in a position to sustain the impugned order.

2. Therefore, following the said Judgment in W.P.(MD)No.3347 of 2025 dated 20.02.2025, the writ petition is allowed and the impugned Refusal Check Slip in RFL/Manaparai/2/2025 dated 02.01.2025 issued by the respondent, is quashed. The Sub Registrar shall register the document, which he has refused to do so under the impugned order. No costs.
