O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct program for unveiling the portrait of comrade Balan and to conduct Public Meeting with rally from Devakottai Town head post office to Anna Arangam on 06.07.2019 from 05.00 pm., to 10.00 p.m., based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Public Meeting with rally on 06.07.2019 in the above said venue, the petitioner made a representation on 17.06.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that already the second respondent has passed an order granting permission to the petitioner to conduct Public Meeting with rally. He has also produced the copy of the order passed by the second respondent dated 03.07.2019.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in this petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
