Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner's land was acquired under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that all the standing trees on the land have not been fully taken into account. The petitioner's counsel alleges that only the tall trees have been taken into account and the trees that are not well grown have been ignored. It is also stated that the final award has already been passed by the authority under Section 30 of the Act. The petitioner's remedy is to seek reference under Section 64 of the Act. The respondents are directed to serve copy of the award on the petitioner so that the petitioner can avail remedy under Section 64 of the Act.

3. With this liberty to the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of. No cots. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 06.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No rmi 2/4
