ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is arrayed as accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.05.2016 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 6 of POCSO Act in Crime No.88 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on giving false promise to marry the de-facto complainant, the petitioner had physical contact with her and due to that, the victim girl is pregnant and subsequently, the petitioner had refused to marry her. On complaint, case has been registered against the petitioner for the aforesaid offence.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the victim girl is aged 17 years and the petitioner promised that he will marry her after completing 18 years.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the victim girl is now 7 months pregnant and the petitioner promised to marry her and had a physical contact with her and subsequently, he refused to marry her and the investigation is pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the serious allegations against the petitioner and the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
