PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the first respondent pertaining to its proceedings bearing Ku.AA.No. 255/ST/Ni.Pi.I/Vu.2/Ko.Kattu.2019 dated 24.06.2019 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue her duties as Assistant Engineer, Civil Section at Kodayar Lower Camp at the fourth respondent Office.

ORDER

Challenging the impugned charge memo dated 24.06.2019 passed by the first respondent, this Writ Petition has been filed. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner raised the ground that the impugned charge memo dated 24.06.2019 passed by the first respondent against the petitioner is vague and factual. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner had requested this Court that the respondent concerned shall be directed to conduct the enquiry within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. 3.In reply, the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that a direction shall be issued to conduct an enquiry and the enquiry will be completed within a period of three months by the respondent concerned. 4.

By accepting the submission made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the respondent concerned to appoint an Enquiry Officer to conduct the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the Enquiry Officer shall complete the enquiry within a period of four months therefrom. The petitioner is also directed to co-operate for the enquiry.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
