This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission with protection to conduct the cultural function Aaadal-Paadal at Thiruppakkottai Public Stage in connection with the Kumbabisegam Festival of Arulmigu Sree Muthu Mariyamman Temple, Thiruppakkottai, Devakkottai, Sivagangai District, scheduled to be held on 09.07.2019 at about 07.00 p.m., to 12.00 a.m., based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 09.07.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 21.06.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the aforesaid relief.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 21.06.2019 has already been considered and permission has been granted to the petitioner to conduct Aaadal-Paadal in connection with the Kumbabisegam Festival of Arulmigu Sree Muthu Mariyamman Temple, Thiruppakkottai, Devakkottai Sivagangai District.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further adjudication is required in this petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
