ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06/06/2019 and to take necessary steps to identify, measure and mark the boundaries of the petitioner's property in new Sy.No.537/6B1A of Kanniyakumari Village, Agastheeswaram Taluk, Kanniyakumari District. 2.Heard Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

4.The petitioner, in order to measure and identify the boundaries of the land claimed to have been belongs to the petitioners in new Sy.No.537/6B1A of Kanniyakumari Village, Agastheeswaram Taluk, Kanniyakumari District, made an application to the 2nd respondent on 06.06.2019 and the the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if the said application/representation of the petitioner is directed to be considered on merits within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation/application of the petitioner would be considered by the 2nd respondent and needful would be done within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following direction:

"The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation/application of the petitioner dated 06.06.2019 with regard to his grievance of measuring land and identify the boundaries and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
