This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct the "Aadi Padaiyal Festival" and " Kidda Vettuthal Function" in connection with the festival of Veeran Swamy Kovil Temple at Pallapatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District to be held from 07.00 p.m., on 05.08.2019 to 11.30 a.m., on 06.08.2019 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2019.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission
and protection to conduct the "Aadi Padaiyal Festival" and " Kidda Vettuthal Function" from 07.00 p.m., on 05.08.2019 to 11.30 a.m., on 06.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 21.06.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.
5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
