ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct the "Adal Padal Kalai Nigalchi" at the evening hours on 17.04.2018 from 9 p.m to 12 a.m on the eve of the Tamil Nadu Cine Actor Vickram's birthday function at Keelanattarkulam, Vittalapuram Post, Srivaigundam Taluk, Tuticorin District.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 28.03.2018 to the second respondent. But so far, no order has been passed on the representation of the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that if the representation with the aforesaid prayer is pending with the respondents, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Taking into consideration of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without expressing any opinion, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law on or before 16.04.2018.
6.The petitioner shall make an application along with this order copy before the second respondent.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
