This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to celebrate Arulmigu Seevalaperi Sudalaimadan Samy Temple festival scheduled on 15.07.2019 and 16.07.2019 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to celebrate Arulmigu Seevalaperi Sudalaimadan Samy Temple festival on 15.07.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made representation on 24.06.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2019 has already been considered and permission has been rejected by the second respondent.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate that the petitioner's representation has already been considered by the second respondent, the relief as such sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
