Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to entertain the petitioner's application dated 27.06.2019 to transfer the ownership of the machine namely JCB Earth Mover bearing Registration No.TN-48-J-9424 to the petitioner's name.

ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to entertain the petitioner's application dated 27.06.2019 to transfer the ownership of the machine, namely, JCB Earth Mover bearing Registration No.TN-48-J9424 to the petitioner's name. 2.Heard Mr.T.Lenin Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Murugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse orders going to be passed in this petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3.The petitioner in order to transfer the ownership of the vehicle in question i.e., JCB bearing Registration No.TN-48-J9424, has made a request to the respondent i.e., the second respondent on 27.06.2019.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the said representation is directed to be considered and decided on merits by the second respondent within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondent, who would submit that the request of the petitioner, dated 27.06.2019, would be considered and decided on merits, after hearing the third respondent. 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition at the admission stage itself with the following directions:- that the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2019 and pass final order thereon, after hearing both the petitioner as well as the third respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

No costs.
