ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would contend that, a complaint lodged by the second respondent against the petitioner was registered in CSR No.204 of 2021 and that the present petitioner also lodged a complaint against the second respondent with the first respondent Police. Both the petitions are posted for enquiry.

3.Recording the said submission, the Inspector of Police, Pavoorchathiram Police Station is directed to follow the guidelines issued in the decisions in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610 and Lalita kumari vs. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in AIR 2014 SC 187. 4.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
