For Respondent : Mr.A.Albert James, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.68 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.68 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to a wordy quarrel, the petitioner abused the de-facto complainant in filthy language, attacked him by using knife and also gave a life threat to him. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and a false case has been foisted against him. Hence, he would seek for anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent would submit that on account of wordy quarrel, the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.3950 of 2023 petitioner abused the de-facto complainant in filthy language, attacked him by using knife and also gave a life threat to him. He would further submit that the petitioner has got five previous cases. Hence, he would oppose for grant of anticipatory bail. 5.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6.Taking into consideration the bad antecedents of the petitioners, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
