This direction petition is filed to direct the respondents to provide protection to the petitioner and his family members. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to the petitioner and his family members, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2014. Now, 4-1/2 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.
3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
