Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide relief under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2019.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner's husband passed away in an accident on 17.12.2018. In this regard, Crime No.675 of 2018 was registered on the file of Nagamalai Pudukottai Police Station. The petitioner wants payment of exgratia for the aforesaid occurrence under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund. The petitioner has already given a representation in this regard before the first respondent. The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation by enclosing a copy of this order before the fifth respondent. On receipt thereof, the fifth respondent shall take all possible steps as per law. I consciously refrain from issuing 2/4

any positive direction but if the petitioner is entitled to exgratia, the same will be disbursed to her as expeditiously as possible.
