ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take criminal action and give a police protection based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, on 20.02.2025, at about 06.00 p.m during the festival time at Sarveshwaran Siva Temple there was a quarrel between the petitioner and some other person while purchasing things. At that time, the petitioner was attacked by some persons and thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 21.02.2025 before the respondent police and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint through online on 21.02.2025 and they recently received the said complaint. Therefore, they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.02.2025 within a week.

4. Recording the above said submissions, this Court directs the respondents to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.02.2025, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
