ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A3 apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 420 and 386(a) of I.P.c. and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act, in crime No.238 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused No.1 and the defacto complainant are friends and he obtained 48 sovereign jewels and Cash Rs.3 lakhs from the defacto complainant for arranging dance class. However, he failed to return the jewels. When this case questioned, the accused Nos.2 to 4 threatened the defacto complainant.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the accused Nos.2 to 4 have threatened the defacto complainant. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having one previous case.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, the petitioner/A2 is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Musiri and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.

7. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
