ORDER

This petition has been filed praying to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his property based on the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 02.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of a landed property to the extent of 2767 square feet in Survey No.5, Co.Abisegapuram, Trichy District. On 02.07.2016, with an intention to grab the petitioner's property, the accused persons have come to the petitioner's land, abused him and threatened with dire consequences. Hence the petitioner has preferred a complaint dated 02.07.2016 to the respondents, seeking police protection. complained of would be the subject matter of enquiry, which could be registered under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 420, 506(ii) IPC r/w 3(i)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Amendment Ordinance Act, 2014. Since the complaint has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that already a civil suit is pending in O.S.No.658 of 2016 between the petitioner and proposed accused persons.

5.There is an undertaking by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 02.07.2016 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

6.Recording the undertaking given by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
