PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Cr.No. 1551 of 2022 and to file charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1551 of 2022 and to file a charge sheet.

2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the action has been dropped on 11.02.2026 and report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai. The respondent is directed to serve a copy of the same to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
