Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent herein to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 04.07.2016 and take necessary action against the accused persons and recover the stolen property within a stipulated time.

ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 04.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though a case has already been registered in Crime No.367 of 2016 on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent Police did not take any steps to recover the stolen articles and to arrest the accused persons and that when the same was questioned by the petitioner, the second respondent Police harassed the petitioner.

that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has already been registered in Crime No.367 of 2016 against the petitioner's elder brother and others; the second respondent Police has been taking earnest efforts to recover the articles and to complete the investigation as early as possible; and the second respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioner, however, he gave an undertaking that if at all the presence of the petitioner is required for enquiry, the second respondent would call the petitioner only after issuing summons giving specific date, time and place.

5.Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
