O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection for a life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner complaint, dated 29.01.2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the subject property through a registered sale deed. While so, when the petitioner attempted to survey and demarcate the property, the 3rd respondent raised objection and stopped the survey. In this regard, he has sent a representation on 29.01.2025 to the respondents police and the same was not considered. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the representation given by the petitioner was received by the respondent police only recently and they will conduct enquiry and it will be completed within a period of one week. 4.The learned counsel for the 3rd respondent would submit that the subject property is belongs to the 3rd respondent and there is a civil dispute

pending between the parties and in this regard, they have filed a civil suit and the same is yet to be numbered. Therefore, police protection cannot be given to the petitioner.

5.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to consider his representation, dated 29.01.2025 and provide police protection and the same is under enquiry before the respondent police, it is for the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and dispose the same in accordance with law. 6.In view of the above, the 2nd respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.01.2025 and dispose of the same within a period of one week, after affording opportunities to both parties and in accordance with law.

7.With the above directions and observations, this petition stands disposed of.
