When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that as against the other accused in Crime No.256 of 2012, in S.C.No.161 of 2013 they were acquitted. It is also submitted that the petitioner is also standing on the very same footing.

2.Considering the same, there is no useful purpose in extending the proceedings as against the petitioner. Accordingly, proceedings in J.C.No.55 of 2014 is set aside.
