PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 to call for the records pertaining to the case registered in impugned First Information Report in Crime No. 252 of 2024 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same as illegal.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 252 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that in the present case after completion of investigation, it was closed as 'action dropped' and final report was filed before the concerned jurisdictional Court. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication. 3.Since this petition is filed to quash the FIR, now the first respondent police, after completion of investigation filed final report before the concerned Court as 'action dropped', no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
