direct the respondent to accept the same without restorting to coercive recovery measures and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER
The relief sought for in the writ petition is to quash the impugned order dated 28.03.2025 and permit the petitioner to discharge the liability of Rs.30,28,,982/- in thirty equal monthly installments.

When the matter came for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent would submit that when the order under Section 7(A) of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, has attained finality, there is no provision for granting extension of such installments.
3. It is true that the order under Section 7(A) of the Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 has attained finality. However, considering the financial difficulties that are pleaded by the petitioner and taking into account the orders passed by this Court 2/4
in similar matters extending equitable relief on the ground of hardship, this Court is of the view that the petitioner may, in the present case also, be permitted to pay the amount in equal monthly instalments.
4. The writ petition is allowed on the following terms:- i. The petitioner shall discharge the liability of a sum of Rs.30,28,982/- in 30 equal monthly instalments and the 1st installment shall be paid on or before 15.04.2026. ii. Thereafter for every month the installment shall be paid on or before the 10th of the succeeding calendar month. iii. It is made clear that even if the petitioner defaults a single installment, the respondents will be entitled to proceed further. iv. It is also made clear that no further extension of time will be granted.
