This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation of the criminal case in Crime No.280 of 2013, from the file of the Inspector of Police, Kumbakonam East Police Station to CBI or other effective agency.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation has been completed and the charge sheet filed on 22.07.2015 and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.54 of 2016 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam and the case is posted on 27.10.2018.

3.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, since the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
