ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2025 and to take necessary lawful steps to conduct further investigation in connection with the case pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No. III, Trichy in C.C.No.28/2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that that the petitioner had sustained grievous injury by the attack suffered by him in the hands of the accused persons, namely Selvam and others. He was also admitted at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Trichy for five days and took treatment. In this regard, a complaint was given and a first information report in Crime No.266 of 2022 was registered on 01.11.2022 and the same culminated in filing a charge sheet in CC.No.28 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, 2/5

Tiruchirappalli. Though the petition had suffered grievous injuries and was also admitted and had taken treatment in the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Trichy for 5 days, without adding the necessary provisions of law, more particularly, for causing grievious hurt, the final report has been filed. Hence, the petitioner had made a representation to the respondent police on 08.11.2025 for further investigation. The same is left unattended and hence this petition.

Learned Government Advocate submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a First Information Report is filed in Crime No. 266 of 2022 on 01.11.2022 and charge sheet has also been filed in C.C.No.28 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Trichy. He further submitted that subsequently, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.6230 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Trichy, for further investigation which was dismissed on 05.08.2025.

4. Heard either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the fact that the petitioner had already filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.6230 of 2023 before the leanred Judicial Magistrate No.III, Trichy, for further investigation and the same was dismissed, giving liberty to the petitioner to file a revision petition challenge in said order, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 12.03.2026 NCC :
